Help please!

Hey, BTW, anyone have any good ideas how to make a home-made chicken costume? Both of my kids are going to be chickens for Halloween and I want to join them. We're going to be The Bird Flu!

My 4 1/2 year old is into Pokemon, for some reason. I am trying to find something pokemon for her. Last year she was spiderman. LOL
Have you looked at something made out of papier-mache? It is relativly easy to make things out of papier-mache. With papier-mache, you can be quite creative. You could take any picyure or diagram of a chicken to make it out of papier-mache.

This morning on the TODAY show they showed some adorable children's costumes.... including a homemade chick costume! They used a yellow feather boa.... safety pinned it at the top of the child's t-shirt... then wrapped it around..pinning it at the bottom and at the arms. They used yellow rubber gloves ( with cardboard inside for a "sole" ) for the chicken feet! Hope that gives you some ideas you can use!

depending on the colour of your chicken (white) use a white boiler suit (coveralls) and sew red flaps under the arms for wings, get thoes chicken feet slippers and wear them with (if slippers are yellow) yellow leg warmer. For the head get a white baseball cap and add a red crest and some eyes from the craft store. Hope this is of help.
